So, I purchased my first real 40k project that is the IG Valkyrie. However, I was wondering: should I give pistol/chainsword arms on my door gunners and let them be sarges? What about a PBS overseer or Penal custodian, as they clearly look different and could represent what currently has no model? My plan thus far was to build both HB door guns, but only one would be manned while I stick the other gunner on a regular base since they stand basically upright.

I saved mine and got enough extras to make a full 10 man squad. My plan was to build a unit of stormtroopers or veterans wih them. never got around to it o they are collecting dust.
but yes, they can be a great basis for a squad. Especially one hat is more "at lease" than reguler ones.

Here's some of the best ones I've seen done by a mate, he made Stormtroopers.

Oli: Can I be an orc?
Everyone: No.
Oli: But it fits through the doors, Look!
