Got a few games, tourny pratice for some of the guys at my local today, not sure what to take either nurgle daemons or WOC.

Have come up with 3 lists I like, all are very light on chaff really, Khorne one more so.

So first is the WOC Khorne list

Spoiler:

Chaos Lord
Khorne
Scaled Skin
Flaming Breath
Tailsman of Preservation
Halberd
Shield

So 7 attacks at ws8 in7 and str6 and 2d6 at str4. 1+ armour (2+ in combat) and 4+ ward.

Exalted Hero
Khorne
BSB
Shield
Soul feeder
Fencers blades

So 6 attacks at ws7 in6 and str 5, no ward though so that could hurt, only gets a 3+ armour hence the soul feeder.

14 Warriors of Chaos
Khorne
Full Commander
2nd hand weapon
Shields

14 Warriors of Chaos
Khorne
Full Commander
2nd hand weapon
Shields

(or combine into one big unit?).

Gorebeast Chariot
Khorne

Gorebeast Chariot
Khorne

Gorebeast Chariot
Khorne

Skull Crushers
Enscourced weapons

Skull Crushers
Lance

So 7 hard hitting units but no magic and no shooting and very little in the way of wards.

Next up is WOC with Magic

Spoiler:

Sorceror Lord
Tzeentch
Metal Lore
Earthing Rod
Armour of Destiny
Scaled Skin
Third eye of Tzeentch

So 3+ armour, 3+ ward RRing 1's. Lvl 4 of metal with a earthing rod so I dont cascade.

Chaos Socreror
Unmarked
level 2 on Shadow
Dispel Scroll
Obsidan Trinkett

So of course D scroll and MR1 for the unit.

Exalted Hero
Tzeentch
BSB
Shield
Tailsman of preservation

so 3+ armour and ward.

24 Chaos Warriors
Tzeentch
Shields
Full commander
Blastard standard.

So all chars go into here, ends up with all shooting should be at half str, meaning cannons are str5 so I will be getting armour then ward saves and bows really struggle to get through. 5+ ward against Magic from MR1 (so wish I could fit the MR2 one in here!), goes 5 wide with bsb and lord in front rank with their good ward saves and shadow dude hides in the 2nd rank. 5+ parry into combat with good static res from 2 banners and a few ranks

5 Warhounds

5 Warhounds with Vanguard

3 Chaos Ogres
Khorne
2nd hand weapon

3 Chaos Ogres
Khorne
2nd hand weapon

6 Trolls

Skull Crushers
Ensorcelled weapons

So quite hard unit to kill that has a ton of points in it, and a few other tough quite hard hitting units to go around and kill stuff.

Lastly the Nurgle

Spoiler:

Herald of Nurgle
General
Magic level 1
Greater Locus of Fecundity

Herald of Nurgle
BSB
Magic level 1
Greater Locus of Fecundity

23 Plague bearers
Full commander
banner of eternal flame

23 Plague bearers
Full commander
Lichebone pendant

3 Beasts of Nurgle

3 Beasts of Nurgle

3 Beasts of Nurgle

5 Chaos Furies,
Nurgle

5 Chaos Furies,
Nurgle

Skull cannon

Skull Cannon.

So two hard units to kill both have regen 4+, flaming will hurt but then the beasts have regen also. 2 Cannons for some ranged punch as both heralds will take nurgle lore (hoping for regen spell), so no offensive magic, furies will act as chaff or warmachine hunters, beasts for flanking or counter assaulting, but to be fair I usually use them to get in their face early.

I am leaning towards the nurgle one, mainly as I havent played them in ages!.
