Ok so my aspect eldar are struggling against massed infantry. I have 1 squad of each aspect including crimson hunter and shadow spectres. 10 wraith guard/blades and 30 dire avengers lead by a autarch on foot and backed by 3 wasp assault walkers sometimes.

I want DE because they can match the speed of my army and can hail out tonnes of shooting.

So whats a decent all out fast shooting Dark Eldar List to ally with my eldar. Dont want over the top amazingness just enough to help mop up the enemy through speedy shooting.

Any help, not sure on a good allies points limit as i have never done allies before.

You have 3 very good ways of doing this depending on points.

If you don't need high strength shooting then a disintegrated ravager will help a lot. 9 strength 5 ap2 shots is nothing to sniff at, especially if you can guide / prescience it with a farseer.

Beyond that again depending on points you can take venoms or raiders with kabalite warriors.

Venom with 5 warriors does 12 36" shots and 5 24" shots (excluding rapid fire). They are poison and wound anything with a toughness value on a 4+ and are ap5.

Your second option is 5-10 kabalites on a raider. That's again 24" 5-10 poison ap5 shots excluding rapid fire and then either a dark lance or disintegrator (my preference).

Beyond those troop choices you have plenty of cc units who can be mounted in venoms (12 36" poison from vehicle).

Beastmasters and khemerae are very good with a farseer in there and the baron.

Killing infantry is something DE excel at. Mass fire or ap2, your choice.

What might be best is to list your Eldar units with a total point value and then say what total points you want to hit. That way I or someone else can help you tailor it.

Im probably gearing towards massed shots (as its something my lists lacks) but yea ill have a list tonight with my current eldar force.

My mechanized Eldar used to have the same problem. This is the DE force that I have been allying to them, with great success:

Baron Sathonyx 105

-Blaster, Venom w/ 2 Splinter Cannons

Ravager 105
-Dark Lances

Total: 440

Each Venom pumps out 12 poisoned shots at 36". Great for infantry and MC clean up duty.

I will join the Baron to my Bike Seer Council for Stealth and a 2+ re-rollable invuln (thanks to Fortune). He also works well in units of Guardian Jetbikes or Swooping Hawks. Whatever unit you want to give Stealth. And the +1 to go first is great
