I might have missed this somewhere in the book but.... are we allowed to only take units that are listed in the Escalation book as a Lord of War or any Super-heavies listed in the Apocalypse rulebook?

The new Apocalypse book includes all of the ones from the Escalation book and the Forgeworld updates. So, yes, all of the Super Heavies/GMC in Apocalypse are legal. In fact, if you read the FW update, it tells you to reference Apocalypse (and a FW book) for the unit entry.

No, RAW you can only use 'Lord of War' datasheets. At this time only the datasheets found in escalation or those produced by forgeworld are Lord of War. Not all of the super heavies in the main apaoc book and the two warzones are reprinted in escalation or forgeworld.
As always, you need to get an OK from your opponent to play with forge world rules.

What units aren't given LoW rules yet? IIRC between the Escalation book and the FW list of LoW options everything has been included.
As always, you need to get an OK from your opponent to play with forge world rules.
Just like you need to get an OK from your opponent to play with codex rules.

It is included as a LoW choice in the dread mob pdf.
The following vehicles may be chosen as Lords of War if your primary detachment is from Codex: Orks or the Ork Dread Mob army list.

Ah! I was only checking the FW LoW list, not the dread mob as well.
Thanks for pointing that out.
Seems a bit stupid to not have it listed only there, I mean if you don't plan on using a dread mob, you don't think to check there...

The regular brass scorpian, not the greater brass scorpion was the 1st thing I noticed. I'd have to go through my books later to see if there are others.
