Toocool and I have had a few games, usually bigger in points, 1750+. These are a lot of fun in that we get to put a lot more toys on the field than an oft tourney standard of 1500. As best I recall, we have a near even record of defeating each other.

This match is with him working on developing his Sisters of Battle army. He's tried different builds and is working towards a cohesive, Adepticon-ready list.

I'm finally getting off the Xenos wagon I've been on for months and going back to power armor. I've lost a couple games with strict SM horde, and a Drop Pod list, so with the IG Allies (fliers) in and rhinos maybe I can score a Win.

toocool61's

Saint Celestine
Canoness
Priest - book of st Lucius

Troops
8 sisters - 2 flamers, rhino
10 sisters - 2 flamers, rhino

Fast
2x5 dominions - immolators for each, tl multi melta

Heavy
3 exorcists - storm bolters

Allies Grey knights
Corteaz
Troops -3 crusaders
7 henchman, 3 plasma canon servitors, 4 acolytes
Heavy
Dread knight - heavy incinerator, personal teleporter, great sword

Fort ADL Icarus lascanon
TooCool will use Divination and scores Ignore Cover and chooses Prescience. With Coteaz manning the Icarus and joined to a plasma cannon crew, my infantry and fliers will be easy targets. Yikes.
Crusaders x3
Servitor unit with 3 PlasmaCannons
DreadKnight - Shunt, Heavy Incinerator

TooCool's Proxy-fest
The stacked rhinos are his Exorcists.

My army

Librarian - Shield Eternal, Force Axe, Jump Pack, Level 2 Psycher

Going with BAO format, I roll once on the RB's Warlord Table and pick from the three choices. A yields the Warlord trait that gives extra inch on assault rolls. Good for a jumper crew. Psy powers are Psychic Shriek (looking at that DreadKnight) and Warp Speed, again good for the Jumpers and helping the Librarian gain some extra attacks. The Init bonus will be null, as an Axe is still going to swing at Init 1.

Tactical - (9 guys) pg, rhino
Tactical - pg, rhino
Tactical - flamer, rhino
Scouts - x5, camo cloaks & sniper rifles

Devastator squad, 3 LasCan, 1 ML, 3 ablatives

9 Assault Marines - Veteran Sgt, w/ PowerSword

Allies
Primaris Psycher
Veterans - x3 meltaguns
Vendettas squadron (2 birds)
Executioner - plasma sponsons

Mission:
4 points - Primary - Emporer's Will
3 points - Secondary - Big Guns (3 objectives)
Deployment - Hammer and Anvil

Just a heads up, the dark blue font on the dark Dakka theme is very hard to read.

That aside, good to see some Sisters action!

I think you might have his list wrong. It's a bit illegal since it has no troops. I'm guessing those celestians are dominions as well.

Also, it's nice to see the stuff I sold him getting play so soon.

@Pretre

Yea he said there are 2 sisters squads in the rhinos also he has 2 squads of dominions inside the immolators, toocool61 is who I played and posted in my Battle report although I didn't know that was his dakka name. His list is definitely nasty.

Fixed it. Orange, instead.

I did have it wrong and should have posted that it was from memory. However, TooCool has sent the lsit to me and now it's correct.

And, cool on you for moving models to a new owner.

Here's Turn 1.

Spoiler:
Toocool's SoB Turn 1

Dread Knight Moves up, but no shunt.

Exorcists move up to a narrow fire lane.

Immolators use the ruins for cover, bringing TL-MM power to my south flank. They'll shoot at the nearest targets, the scouts, but their camo-cloaks keep 'em safe.

Shooting has TooCool score First Blood with a rhino going down to the Exorcists' guns. And of course, it blows up, leaving me a tactical with 3 men down. They'll pass Pinning and Morale, though. I believe the Explosion does more wounds to the nearby Devastators and Assault Marines. A jumper died.

Also, the rhino tilted up on the hill takes 2 Hull Points, but lives. Exorcists are nasty.

Turn 1 for BrotherErekose's Marines
I turn chicken and drop my Jump crew back. Those DreadKnights worry me to no end. Green tactical squad angles north.

The forward rhino move over its hill, and then Flat Out to snug up against the aquila bunker/ruin. The Plasma'Cutioner pivoted and aimed at one of the Immolatrors. My jumpers moved up (but not enough range on the librarian's Psychic Shriek). Wounded Tactical crew moves north for some cover.

The Leman Russ's Shooting netted me a whopping Immoblized result on one Immolator. While sniper fire and Devs do nothing to the Dread Knight.

Turn 1 summary (also known as Body Count):
Sisters = First Blood (dead rhino), 3 tac and a jumper
SM = Stuck Immolator (1 Hull Point)

Holiday delay in posting.

Turn 2
Spoiler:
TooCool's Turn 2
Movement (no pix) sees one Immolator move up a wee bit. DreadKnight jumps to *my* side of the center piece. His Crusaders arrive from Reserve. They secure the Emporer's Will objective.

Shooting sees the Devastators and green tactical take Morale Checks, which they both fail. This will put the Devs behind a LOS-blocking ruin. Grr.

Space Marines

Vendetta Squadron Reserve Roll:

I remember that there are Combat Tactics to use. I'll employ the Dev-Doctrine this turn to mitigate the heavy-wep shooting.

Movement:
Marines and Devs rally, and I get LOS on the DreadK and Exorcists.
I pull the rear rhino back to make room for the Devs to manuever.
The green tacticals head south to counter the encroaching Immolators and their melta-wielding passengers.
Executioner pivots to put better hurt on the Immolators.
I realize he's farting around with the Dreadknight, so I grow a pair, and move the jumpers up to deal with him.

Shooting
Psychic Shriek is successfully cast, but I only roll a total of 9, so the DK takes no woundsfrom that, but overall I manage to bloody his nose for 1 wound.

Body Count:
No change for either team.
