Transfered this from general as I didn't get feedback.

I have not played KT before, but we have a Tournament coming with Tau, Eldar, SM, Orks and Necrons involved. I chose Daemons even though I could field SM or Eldar myself.

My obvious choice of Pink Horrors is unusable, so I thought of using following:
Plaguebringer (Leader)
Drone 1 (Dirty Fighter - Rending)
Drone 2

Flamer 1 (Guerilla - Scout)
Flamer 2 (Weapon - Rending)
Flamer 3

Now I forgot about USR's. How should I change my Specialists? Would other Daemons options be better?

I feel that I cannot get this to work, so I might end up with SM bikes list instead, but that would be boring.

SM bikes would be a much more competitive choice. Daemons suffer in kill teams for a variety of reasons.

Best choices would be drones, hounds or flamers. But of these none of them are amazing for kill teams. I guess the dogs would work best.

If possible a very fast pace seeker list might be fun. give em ID, Shred, or P.E

Hounds are good but you need 4 models that are not beasts or swarms to unload USRs and leader.

Every strong demon list I have ever seen has relied upon combinations of different things for its strength. The smaller the list, the harder it is to put together combinations that result in strength.

When the codex was first released, before the big combos were figured out, it was considered tremendously under strength, just from looking at the units by themselves.

Cheers,

Deamons list 200pts I've had luck with are:
10 letters
6 dogs
And
10 netties
9 seekers
Add specialist where you want
Both have a fast element both can deal with light armour (in cc) and they have there base save, there only real weakness is LD and lack of range but I find terrain mitigates this to a degree. Best bet is try them out and see which works.

I wanted to give the flamers a scout move. That should get them close to the enemy quick for rending attack. The drones have 9 wounds at T5 + shrouded.

Why would this list not work? I should probably change drone's rending to ID or PE?

Your list looks fine, I would go with that. There really isn't a great go to daemons unit for kill teams. Drones and flamers arre some of the best at your disposal.

I've tried playing daemons lists and found that melee really isn't an effective way to win kill teams. There no sweeping advances and often 1 daemons attacks vs one target model is over kill.

Furies would be pretty nice for this if not for that leadership two - might still be worth it with a beast of nurgle or some other cheap unit to draw fire. Hounds are also great as mentioned although not fantastic when it comes to daemonic instability.
