Additional 2d3 units can be scoring due to double Grand Strategy.
Scoring Techmarines secure home objectives. They enhance their own cover saves thanks to Bolster Defences. They just pie plate their enemies and in case of an emergency go to ground for an easy 2+ cover save in any terrain.
Solodins take control over mid-field with Grand Master and just Holocaust anything that comes nearby. GM can also bring some pain from afar while sitting on an objective (with attached Solodin).
Since Draigo isn't a Warlord he just deepstrikes with Apothecary and thinks that he is the Marbo.
Dreadknights (whether scoring or not) just take enemy back field.

The best thing about this list is how easy it is to put back in the case after you've been tabled by turn 3.

Nonsense. The Battle Company box is perfect for filling out your ranks of aspect warriors with a large contingent from the Screaming Baldies shrine.

Pretty sure you can't attach characters to units of 1 Model so the Apocathey is a waist. With a list like this you really need some more Servo-Skulls 1 won't cut the cheese sadly. I'd drop the Apoc down to a normal Pally and give the Techmarines some more Servo Skulls.

I have a list simlar to this and a Terminator Inquisitor with Psycannon fits a really useful roll. Now with the Inquisition Codex you can get 3 of these guys. Either Deep Stike behind enemy lines to pop tanks or hide them in cover to shoot up flyers. I'd drop the second GM to get these guys in they will serve you so much better.

You can attach characters to Solodins the same way Commander can join a Riptide. At lest I think so.

Come on, apart from being torn apart by a Wave Serpent spam i think it actually can kill some stuff.
You have up to 4D3 + 4 Large blasts (Orbital Strike Relay + Holocaust) and 3 torrent flamers.
Even Tau should have some problems killing 3 Dreadknights in just one turn. Turn later they also have Draigo with a FnP.
Most of the units there (up to all of them if I roll two 3s on the Grand Strategy) will be scoring. That is up to 10 scoring units.
Against psychic heavy lists (Seercouncil for example) I have 4 Large blasts that cause perills on hit. I can possibly even face a Screamer Star.

I know there are many lists that will just kill it but it seems to be lots of fun.

ICs can never join a unit that can only ever consists of one model.

Paladins are 1-9 as a squad and Riptides can take drones. Both can be a unit of more than a single model and can be attached to.

In my experience the orbital bombardements of GKs aren#t s good as they sound on paper.

It could also be, that I've simply had horrible luck with my pie-plates shifting far from the intended targets. Remember, they never ever get a direct hit...

Do you place them on units or in the empty spaces in between?

If you take some servo skulls they will help with an Alpha Strike. Reducing the scatter to 1D6 instead of 2D6 can be the difference in a lot of cases.

On models but barrage from orbitals is d3 large blast me thinks it would hurt light armour. Considering if all 4 launched barrage it would be around 5-8 large blasts. Just place them at the center of your opponents army and hope they hit something.
