So how do I best equip wolf guard terminators? (with what comes in the box)
And if you have some tactics for them to share aswell that'd be welcomed.

Some of my favorite Wolf Guard compositions are
5 Wolf Guard w/ Combi-(Plas/Melta) x5, TDA x1, Drop Pod
A kind of suicide/alpha strike unit.
10 Wolf Guard w/ TDA x2, Cyclone Missile Launcher x2, Land Raider Redeemer(Optional)
Take as a complete Assault unit with an HQ or split the TDA WG of as Pack Leaders
10 Wolf Guard w/ TDA x4, Storm Shieldx4, Wolf Claw x4, Arjac, Drop Pod (Optional)
Beatstick unit. Waaay too many points but is fun to use.
That last one is the only time I would run a 100% Terminator WG unit.
The only tips I have for Wolf Guard are for mostly non-terminator compositions. The 5 WG unit I listed is my go to Drop unit. I have a 1500 list that runs
Logan Grimnar
7 Wolf Guard w/ Combi-Melta x5, TDA x1, Drop Pod
7 Wolf Guard w/ Combi-Melta x5, TDA x1, Drop Pod
7 Wolf Guard w/ Combi-Melta x5, TDA x1, Drop Pod
7 Wolf Guard w/ Combi-Plasma x5, TDA x1, Drop Pod
7 Wolf Guard w/ Combi-Plasma x5, TDA x1, Drop Pod
7 Wolf Guard w/ Combi-Plasma x5, TDA x1, Drop Pod
Drop near Vehicles or Toughness Models and watch them melt and clean up whats left on the Charge.

There's not a best method, really - you can gear them pretty much anyway you want, so you're going to want to decide if you want cc specialists, shooting specialists, or a combination.
If you're just sticking with 5, then it's also worth thinking about gearing them so that you can split them off to be pack leaders for your other packs, and then gear them based on how you want that pack to work (cc-based Grey Hunter unit? Maybe 2 flamers for the GHs and a Heavy Flamer for the WGT... tank-hunters? 10 GHs with 2 Plasma Guns and a WGT with an Assault Cannon)
Additionally, with a little green stuff and a little surgery, a model from the WGT box set can be made into Logan Grimnar or Arjac Rockfist, if you want to go that route.

In general, I think running Wolf Guard Terminators with bare-minimum equipment is the best. Once you buy the armour for them it's something along the lines of 34-36 points for the guys. All other loyalists pay 40+ points for their termies. It lets you cram a few more bodies into the unit and/or fit other things into your army. It's a fairly reasonable price for the Wolf Guard stats, the SW special rules, a storm bolter, power weapon (I recommend axes with the occasional mace thrown in) and that lovely 2+/5++.
Unfortunately, once you start adding stuff to your termies (namely thunder hammers, storm shields, and any type of fist) they become more expensive than what their loyalist counterparts pay for the same loadout, so you'll want to give out such toys sparingly.
The CML is a pretty damn great buy, but if memory serves it doesn't come in the SW terminator box (a sentinel missile launcher glued onto a termie works fine, if you know an IG player he/she should have a spare one or five laying around). Combi-meltas can give the unit the ability to erase a problem vehicle (especially if they DS next to it), but I don't think the other combi-weapons are worth it on the terminators. If you're dead-set on ONLY using parts from the SW kit then a Heavy Flamer might be a good buy: it's cheap, ignores cover, and has the d3 overwatch hits thing. The Assault Cannon might also be worth considering (I've seen the things destroy Land Raiders before), but you won't want to take them on a suicide-drop squad on account of their price.

Another way to up the man power and keep the points low is to fill the unit with a couple of power armored bodies. The Wolf Guard are free to mix and match terminator armor and power armor in the unit, so use this to your advantage.
This works especially well to get the minimum number required for a heavy weapon on the cheap.

Run as many bodies as you can. Buy your toys Sparingly.
Per 5 i run one Heavy weapon. and one TH/Ss combo. i prefer the Assault cannon. Mainly cause im gak with a blast weapon and i like the extra shots.
i have taken down several LRs and other tough nuts.
March them up the field shooting as much as you can. pray you make your saves then beat stick em.
it works some times but is very fun =D
Happy hunting

I generally use SW terminators as squad leaders, as they are great for soaking up fire and protecting squads of Grey Hunters or Long Fangs. I like to run to packs of Grey hunters foot-slogging with Wolf Standard, two plasma-guns, led by a terminator armored Wolf Guard with Combi-Plasma & a Power Axe. If I end up using 5 of them, I'll throw one with a cyclone missile launcher in with a Long Fang pack, joined by a Rune priest to cast divination (and usually man a quad-gun). I can't tell you useful they can be as squad leaders. The only drawback is that when joining GH squads, they can't take ten men (with 2 assault weapons) and fit in a rhino or drop pod. The combi-weapon makes up for that, for the most part. If I am looking to get that second cyclone missile launcher for a second long fang pack, I'll often un a bone stock pack of 5 terminators in a drop pod. With the other 5 leading GH or LF packs. As a bone stock (5 WG w/TDA [power swords AND axes) they are 200 points even and are a great spearhead or just a wonderful distraction. Even if it's the only drop pod in the army, it can take a lot of fire away from you're advancing forces.
