So, after some planning I thought my game store was running a escalation league at 500 points, boy was I wrong . Looks like I will have an even harder time! I bring two lists which I have no idea how they will do. I'll keep it short and sweet.

List One
HQ

Xenos Inquisitor - 25
-Bare Bones

TROOPS

Strike Squad (5 man) 115
Justicar Halberd
Psycannon

Strike Squad (5 man) 110
Psycannon

List Two
HQ

Coteaz - 100

TROOPS

(2x) Henchmen Squad - 75 (150)
5 Bolter Acoyltes
Razorback w/psybolt

Not much I can do with 250 points, but I think it will be an interesting start of the league for sure!

I make bad decisions and think they are good.

Arn't psybacks and chimeras same points? If so swap them out so the bolter acoylites can shoot, as for coteaz take telepathy psykic powers.

I believe chimeras are cheaper than the razorbacks w/psybolt.

Carapace for that Inquisitor is more important than a Halberd.

You are correct, I'm not sure what I was thinking

They come standard with Carapace armor.

If you can squeeze 10pts to make psybacks into chimeras you will gain a lot of shooting.

Definitely stick with the Strikers, they do containment really well on a 4x4...and can deepstrike themselves.

I was pushing more toward list 2 because I could threaten back lines really easy, but list 1 has some armor.

I make bad decisions and think they are good.

I would go with something like this:

Hq:
Coteaz 100

Troops:
5x GKSS w/ Psycannon 110
3x Heavy Bollter Servitors + 2x Bolter Warrior Acolytes 40

Coteaz goes into a ruin for that 4+ cover with Henchmen ( careful positioning so he can tank shots) and the Stike Squad DS ? I don't really know .. So few points for GK ...

It's hard to do GK with so little points. But I also like your list. Only problem is that I would need to get Heavy Bolter Servitors

I did a 250 pts with

Hq:
Inquisitor (mallus)
Power armor bolt pistol
Nemesis deamonhammer

Troop:
Gk strikesquad in a rhino
(1 justicar with deamonhammer 1 psycannon and 6 barebone)
I had a hard time as they are basicly regular marines

What you should do is this tho:

Hq:
Inquisitor with hellrifle 40pts
Psyker10p( or any other henchman for 10p)

Troop:
Greyknight terminator squad bare bones 200pts

You can bet nothing wil even hurt you a bit, the inquisitor will wound on a 2+
And a psyker would be fun just to bring a scary large blast to mess with the opponents, while the terminators will stand their ground and bring alot of hurt

The only problem is that I still need two troops
