I've been playing Orks since just after 6th ed came out (lucky me, I didn't have to learn new rules twice

), and I think I've finally found the list that is going to be my go to in tournaments. So far I'm 5-1-2 with this bad boy. I took this at my
FLGS's WARCON hosting and took second (final battle is the only one I've lost). So, here goes:
HQ:
Big Mek ('Eavy Armor, Cybork,
KFF) 100 pts
Warboss (Armor, Cybork, Attack Squig,
PK,
BP) 120 pts
Troops:
18 'ard S/C boys + 1 Nob (
PK,
BP, Armor) 225 pts
18 shoota boys + 1 Nob (
PK,
BP, Armor) 154 pts
11 S/C boys + 1 Nob (
PK,
BP, Armor) in a trukk (big shoota, Ram,
RPJ) 162 pts
11 S/C boys + 1 Nob (
PK,
BP, Armor) in a trukk (big shoota, Ram,
RPJ) 162 pts
11 S/C boys + 1 Nob (
PK,
BP, Armor) in a trukk (big shoota, Ram,
RPJ) 162 pts
11 S/C boys + 1 Nob (
PK,
BP, Armor) in a trukk (big shoota, Ram,
RPJ) 162 pts
Fast Attack:
Dakkajet w/ additional supashoota 120 pts
Dakkajet w/ additional supashoota 120 pts
Dakkajet w/ additional supashoota 120 pts
Heavy Support:
Battlewagon (Deff Rolla, Big shoota,
RPJ) 120 pts
Battlewagon (Deff Rolla, Big shoota,
RPJ) 120 pts
Total: 1847
As you may have guessed, I put the Warboss with the 'Ard boys in one wagon and the shootas with the
KFF in the other, making the
KFF my warlord (because I fully expect my Warboss to get killed at some point). Now, this is the key point here, so read carefully: Unless you're playing a gunline, forget about First Blood and let your opponent go first! They will foolishly move forward, take out a trukk, and then be easily within charge distance with your 13" movement. Unload as many boys as you can and get them KRUMPIN'!

Second turn, call in the air strikes to take out the long rangers hiding in back and BAM, you've got the game in a strangle hold.
Let me know what you think, or if you have any suggestions for how to better equip this army! Thanks, and happy wargaming!
