What are everyones thoughts on the asphyxious model he is the cryx caster I am going with because I liked his model. What is everyones thought also on the new memo caster and his other two versions of memo as well as stryker and his epic? All thoughts would be appriatied as I am jumping back into war machines and these are the casters I have.

Gaspy3 is amazing and a lot of fun. He honestly feels like a tanky Cygnar caster more than your standard Cryx leader. His tier list is actually good and fun to play, but he can go out of tier just fine.

Is he much different to the other 2 versions?

Yep. I don't own the model so I don't have the card on hand, but I've seen him used a few times and there's quite a bit of chatter about him over on the PP forums.

Gaspy3 is my main caster, he's a great buff specialist. Placing Ashen Veil on you're tarpit (I prefer mcthralls) and getting them stuck in is a significant pain for some armies to clear out with effective Def 14 Thralls that recur next turn. While Scything touch on any unit with multiple attacks really shine I've been tooling around with using soul hunters due to light cav charge attack bonuses and three swings. He has a wierd balance to his position on board. I've been using him purely as a buff caster that can become a monster in the late game. However he wants to be in combat but safe from reprisal when possible, and preferably munching on living infantry.

Thanks everyone. So far I have him and the battle box and I want to play that a few times and I have the cygnar battle box and all three nemo's what would you recommend I get next than for crux and or cygnar

Thanks for that. He does seem a lot more buff/debuff than before. And his little friend is pretty decent too. I might look at him again when I'm ready for another caster.

ernshmagl, honestly I don't think the battle box is going to help you out too much. Gaspy3 likes infantry since his buffs and debuffs are counted many more times than it does with warjacks. One arc node could carry over, but I wouldn't run a heavy with him. An arc node, maybe the Cankerworm, and maybe the Kraken would be my warjacks with the rest of the points in infantry.

Okay. Thanks Kirbinator. What would you recommend for infantry than? Would it be okay to start and to get the rust off my game thus use the battle box for now and what infantry other than bane thralls would work I was thinking macanathrals just not sure what else?

Honestly Gaspy3's tier list is quite solid. You can see what all is in it at the bottom of that BattleCollege article. Outside of that, Bane Knights and Bane Thralls are always a good investment and work well with all of our casters. The Mechanithralls are also a nice unit that work well with most of our casters with only a very select few I wouldn't pair them with. The mechanithralls are in Gaspy3's tier list but the Banes are not, if that matters to you. Tier lists aren't that big a deal really, just a neat little bonus.

Satyxis Raiders with Ashen Veil are just ridiculous. DEF 18 against most shooting and they take no blast damage. It almost garuntees you'll get to Power Swell.
My only complaint with Über Gaspy, is that he makes everything good. It makes list writing a huge pain. In a good way.
