I want to make a mind shackle scarabed zombie horde as allies for my Necrons. A LOT of zombies. And I want to cover the zombies with tiny scarabs, like the ones in the under-carriage of the Spyder or those in Aphos's "body" from the tomb kings fantasy army.

Does anyone either:

A) know of a kit/model that I could use (I need a LOT)

Or

B) have any idea about sculpting/casting my own... (Start with green stuff/milliput? Good tutorials on casting tiny little things? Easiest approaches etc etc)

Theres a ton of tiny scarabs on the ghost ark kit (on the warrior support arms), if you have access to anyone who made the doomsday ark they may have the required bits

The Tesseract Vault comes with two new sizes of scarabs, both are smaller than the scarabs found in the warriors box.

These are perfect! I guess if I can find someone who is selling the rest because they only want the C'Tan... Still seems like a lot if all I want is some wee scarabs. And I need A LOT (thinking 120 zombies for this army!)

If I remember my count, there were 20 of the medium and 20 of the small scarabs in the vault kit.
