Grey Knight Psionic Stormraven Pilot

Here are my two Dreadknights with some minor conversions. I added heads because I just couldn't get over the decapitated look of the model. I figure even if the heads don't actually do anything for the suit of armour they would still scare the crap out of your opponent. The heads are from the Tomb Kings Sphinx kit and fit the Dreadknight perfectly in scale. The Gattling Psilencer has had a longer barrel for looks added. The Knight armed with both a sword and hammer is for looks only, I have a left and right fist for him so that I can remove what ever weapon he isn't using and replace it with an empty fist.

The eyes of both are my first attempt at OSL and I must say look better on the model than it does in the pictures, it's not nearly as bright as the pictures make it look. Anyway, I hope you enjoy...

The pictures are a little far away, but from what i can tell they look great. The NMM on the swords is awesome. Tasteful, and not over the top, which tends to be the rarity in NMM.

A couple of minor constructive criticisms... the heads on the top are a little distracting. They almost look out of place. Ditto on the blue rimming the base, it distracts from the rest of the paint job which is very good.

I love the long barrel conversion of the silencer, that looks awesome. I might steal that for my Psi-cannon.

The heraldry on the shields are awesome, btw. Superbly done.

Final constructive criticism: the big bases are a little flat, the texturizing is great, but on such a big base just flat dusty texture translates a touch flat. even a couple small accent pieces (some rocks, perhaps a skull, some battlefield detritus, a dead daemon... something), would "pop" a little more.

I mean, it's Dakka. I thought snide arguments from emotion were what we did here.
