Basically i kinda wanna know what i would need to start out, brand new to fantasy and wanna good cc army and i love the chaos lords and champions, escpecially khorne, and they fit my style, not much magic and the lord (my centerpiece) is a absolute cc beast, so for a 500 point army what should i look for?

Sry didn't see that it was Khorne, so my list doesn't reflect that, but at 500 pts you really can't get that much Khorne goodness in from what I can see.

Mono God lists are cool, here's my thoughts:

1. you cannot afford a lord and barely afford an exalted hero either with very little gear. my suggestion is to take Scylla. he's Khorne, he's Ld 10, he's pretty solid in CC and he's a 4 wound general all for 105 points. Bargain and fluffy.

2. Warriors are good, no doubt, but i would have to say take a Khorne chariot, tougher than warriors and pumps out about the same damage, more if you roll well for impact hits.

3. Chaos dogs are good for 2 reasons, a) they are dirt cheap and b) will get you your minimum number of units easily, i would take 2 minimum units.

4. this leaves you over 200 points for cool stuff, dragon ogres are great at this level, as are trolls and spawn, though spawn with MoK are meh compared to nurgle or tzeentch spawn.

want my thoughts on a list. i would go for this:

Scylla- 105

1 Chaos Chariot- MoK- 120
5 Chaos Warhounds- 30
5 Chaos Warhounds- 30

3 Dragon Ogres- Great Weapons, Champion- 214

Total= 499

Scylla joins the Dragon Ogres, advance using dogs for dealing with enemy chaff and/or redirecting, and simply smash face with chariot and Dragon Ogres. or if you would rather have a third unit of dogs, drop the champion and great weapons off the Drogres.

Up to you but the list i have written is £110 and none of it is wasted and its a good 500 point list that is hard to deal with IMHO.

This is a good list, but if the aim is to expand in future, I would look at:
Exalted, MoK 120
Warriors x 12, Halberds, MoK 228
Chariot, Mok 120
Warhounds x 5 30

It is less cool than the above list, but may be better from a model buying point of view.

The list is basically for learning to play fantasy and to start a army i will be able to expand on , i love the khorn exaulted model, can i buy the chaos lord and juat use it for a khorne exaulted ? Cause i wanna have a chaos lord evwntually

Yes, most opponents would be fine with that in my experience - you just state at deployment what he is.
