So using a Red Scorpions vanguard seige assault list combined with a Mantis Warriors allies as a 'counts as' army, involving a heavy psyker influence. All the marines have at least slight psychic abilities and are able to maintain a weak forcefield to absorb damage (apart from the scouts who have not been fully trained in this art yet), this is represented by the Red Scorpions CT of having an apothecary in each squad giving FnP. Mantis Warriors have been chosen so divination can also be included in the army (thus the non FnP scouts).

Tactical squads have a 3+ reroll followed by a 5+fnp against small arms fire.
Lots of psykers for a TS feel. Also the LotD are not LotD but rather elite psyker squads whise psychic abilities allow them to deepstike, ignore cover, give them relentless and a 3++.
Is it a nice fluffy yet reasonably competative list? But more imporatantly, do you like the idea?
