Rules discussions have been kind of back and forth on this issue since 6th came out, so discussions on the ways to take advantage of it have been sparse (usually devolving into the usual rules argument). But because Frontline's rulings for the Las Vegas Open specify that yes, IC's can take a squad along with them to infiltrate and yes, that now-infiltrating squad can take along non-infiltrating IC's, I figured it might not be a bad time to open up a full discussion as to the ways to take advantage of this ruling in various ways.

I'm primarily an Eldar player, so I'll talk about one of the ways that I'm thinking about doing so, in this case using Illic Nightspear. With the list I'm adding him into, I'm taking along Dark Reapers in place of my usual 2nd Fast Attack and/or Heavy choice (often Vypers and/or a Nightspinner). The intent with this is to do one of the following two things, depending on my opponent and whether I'm going first:

-Infiltrate the Reapers into an ideal position to best take advantage of their firepower. This means getting side armor shots on an important vehicle, a clean line of sight towards enemy bikers, or just an elevated position with a good view. This could leave them a little exposed, but with Illic granting them Shrouded, as long as I get them into cover they will be a little more durable.
-Infiltrating the Wave Serpent with Fire Dragons. Depending on the layout of the battlefield, this would set me up for a first turn Fusion Gun attack on an important heavy armor unit.

Depending on the list, I'd consider also including a Farseer with either Infiltrating unit in order to boost their effectiveness, but in this particular army I'd rather keep my Farseer (on a jetbike) alongside my Wraithknight and Warp Spiders to guide their more critical shots (though I should be able to keep the Reapers within 24" of the Farseer for a first Guide, since the Spiders won't always be within range of a useful target).

I don't necessarily think that Karandras is a good source of Infiltrate unless attempting to set up a Melee Deathstar, but having a unit of Scorpions (with a Spiritseer?) alonside a unit of Incubi attached to Karandras could certainly be very, very interesting.

Comments on these particular uses? Your own suggestions? I know people always seem to talk about infiltrating Riptides, but I'm not really sure if the Riptide benefits so much from being up close and its size and speed means it doesn't really need to worry about positioning for its attacks (unlike the Reapers above or perhaps Devs or Chosen being infiltrated by Cypher).

Ehhh, I think the best way to 'take advantage' would be to just spend 34 points ensuring nobody can use this trick against you via servo skulls

My store plays the rules like this and I have come up with a very fun unit that takes advantage. Karandras, Vect and 7 Harlequins with all the trimmings bar Death Jester. Note that these Harlequins are DARK ELDAR Harlequins who don't need to pass a psykic test but instead grants stealth and shrouded. Infiltrate into some cover for a lovely 2+ cover save, then second turn charge into his gubbins and kill stuff. Vect grants preferred enemy so you hit on 3's and re-roll 1's. Karandras adds monster hunter incase they needed to slaughter MC 's any more, especially when Vect would personally kill man 3+ MC's by himself. This unit has killed the Swarmlord, Biker Nobz, an Entire Pallie Star with Draigo (That's what happens when Karandras insta-kills 4 of them before they strike), a 60 man Ork Horde and multicharged at least 80 guardsmen from behind a ADL and forced ALL of them to flee off the board. Ah, fun times. Add in a Farseer, or worse, Eldrad and Laugh if you roll fortune!

Infiltrating 10 mandrakes with two haemonculi and a PGL-equipped Succubus would be hilarious 'cause nobody would see it coming. 20 S4 AP4 18" pinning attacks on a stealth, 5++, move-through-cover, 30-attacks at S3 (S4 with 2 haemys for FC) on the charge, 150pt platform. Plus Succubus shenanigans and whatever the Haemies decide to bring.
You've already got the models to proxy as Wracks, you know you want to.

Cypher infiltrating the Inquisitorial deathsquad of Crusaders/DCA/Priests.

Or anything else you need to infiltrate out of Imperial codices (Khan-powered Guard blobs, Terminators, Centurions, Sternguard, Vanguard, what-have-you).
