I just got back into war40k after about a year off and was wondering if there were happenings going on around town. I end up finding posts that are at least half a year old to 2-3 years old so im just going to make a new one (im kinda new so i might be pissing on some forum rules, sorry). Looking for anything really, meet ups are a game store, or somewhere else. Im kinda new. can probably field a good 1500 points but after that, ill be bad. Any takers?

Have you ever heard of the store Parker Banner Kent and Wayne? It's up in Cornelius. Charlotte really doesn't have many good places to play. PBKW is the best in my opinion.

I have heard of it and been, but im in the lower charlotte region and it takes a little more time than i want to get up to cornelius or mooresville, wherever they are, and that was like a year or so ago. I was hoping that there was somewhere not too far away.

Ah, I know what you mean. I live way out in Kings Mountain, so it's a good ways away for me too. I know theres a place called "Your Local Game Store" but I've never been there. It's in the Pineville Mathews area.

I know the feels, I live in Lincolnton and there is nothing here anymore. I seriously miss the old GW at Concord Mills. Hickory has the Dugout to play, but the Hobbytown and Time Tunnel are wastelands in terms of stock and places to play.

I'm over in the Mooresville area. Honestly from what I've found down here your better off just forming a small group to play with on weekends.

I would love to find a group of people that are willing to play on the weekends or something like that... If we cant find a store to go to, im sure we could come up with some other way of meeting

I go to Belmont for drill once a month. I would get up with you guys for a game or two when i go into that area. I play Tau, Space Marines, looking into chaos and daemons.

I'm in Rock Hill. The wife and I are sharing a car right now so I'm limited in my travel times. I do have a 6x4 board that I do play on at home. Its not finished ( used to be for a slot car track) and my scenery pieces are basic, but it gets the job done. I'd be willing to host a couple people on a Sat or Sunday afternoon/early evening,

National guard or reserves they have "drill" one weekend a month two weeks in the summer. They get in uniform and train for the weekend.
