So after doing well with the nurgle locally I want to try MSU daemons. Have tried it once against a world dragon light choir HE list and of course lost but did ok and it was 12-8 on the sliding scale iirc so think it has some promise. What I am thinking is these two lists, one with some counter assault one without.
Herald Tzeentch, level 2, lore of metal, General
Herald Tzeentch, level 2, lore of metal, BSB
Herald Slaanesh, Lesser gift, locus beguilement
20 Daemonettes, full command
5 x 10 Horrors, all with standards
2 x 5 flesh hounds, ambushers
2 x 5 Furies, Slaanesh (str4 with AP sounds good)
2 x 3 flamers
2 Burning Chariots
15.4 on swedish comp
OR this (no assault but more shooting)
Herald Tzeentch, level 2, metal, general
Herald Tzeentch, level 2, metal, bsb
6 x 10 Horrors, standard each
2 x 5 Flesh hounds, ambushers
2 x 5 furies, Nurgle
2 x 3 flamers
2 burning chariots
2 skull cannons
A horrible 7.6 on Swedish comp, mainly thanks to the cannons .
Idea is, lots of drops, horrors that get crap powers can be chaff, furies to redirect (really need to buy more, may get another set of 5 mantic gargoyles and have 3 units in these lists), lots of shooting but as per daemons quite random!, lots of magic and metal for final trans, buffs and de buffs. I do like the first list as for one the swedish comp is a lot better and secondly I have a good assault unit in there (with locus elves will still get ASF but wont get any re rolls due to intaitive decrease and being able to snipe out weak chars with challenges, lesser gift for ASF sword). Hounds are ther e to go war machine hunting and rear charging.
In total first list is 7 channels RR 1;s, 2nd list is 8 channels RR 1's hopefully get me 2 extra dice per turn.
Most expensive unit is nettes in first and flesh hounds in second, most other units are around 140pts.
Opinions?
