Would you play against them?
I would love to see them on the battlefield
The size is ok and they look good
Meh, I could but you can find something better
It's a proxy, I would hesitate...
Unacceptable!

I wanted to add an ogryn squad to my IG (yes, I am weird), but original GW ogryns are expensive as hell and I don't like their models. Recently I've found some nice miniatures from Dust Warfare:

They are abuot the same size as ogyns, slightly taller than a terminator. Most of them carry a ccw and a machine gun.

My question is: Would you like to play against them, or do you consider them filthy proxies? If so, what other count-as would you suggest?

I would love to play against those! Those are way cooler that the orgyn models, and actually look like something the imperial guard should be using. Although I would like to see them on normal bases.

I think that they are OK. But I would rather see the real Ogryns on the table.

Cowards will be shot! Survivors will be shot again!

For a small squad i suggest the scibor SF ogres. Very cool looking but limited poses. Good for 4 ogryns really.

I'd play them. They're the right size, have the right weapons and look awesome.

To me they seem quite small but if they are the right size I would certainly play against them.

They are very cool, my one issue with them is that at that scale, they don't look like hulking brutes... they look like larger scale normal humans in power armor of some sort.

That said, i'd have no issue with it at all, though.

Those are some beautiful models. I would love to see them across the table from me. If you want to run them as ogryns that's your call. i wouldn't mind as long as you explained what they were supposed to be.

That said, I think they could make some dang fine Sternguard with a little conversion on the weapons...
