In my attempt to make a dark eldar army i've come up with a list for an upcoming local tournament.

Vect & co.

Dark eldar

Vect - 240

5 Kabalites - 110
Venom, dual cannon

Ravager, 3 lances, night shield -115

Ravager, 3 lances, night shield - 115

Beast pack - 6 flocks, 5 khymerae - 200

Eldar:

Jetseer - shard + the rest - 155

3 Eldar Jetbikes - 50

5 warp spiders - 100

ADL + quad - 100

The idea is that Vect goes with the beast pack + jetseer, the warriors hide and the everything else shoots. As an alternative, I'd swap the beast pack for a unit of grotesques in a raider and then the farseer for an autarch which should give me enough points to have a bigger warp spider unit.

Comments are welcome.

Vect is great for the seize bonus, prefered enemy and all around beatstick, but he costs a lot and slows down the beastpack. For less than half, you could get the baron which still helps you go first, brings grenades+hit and run to the pack and costs less than half of vect, which would buy you another ravager and change.

Since your going jetseer, really consider trophies on the ravagers and possibly venoms for re rolling psychic tests. You may also want blasters for the kabbies, just in case.

Check your points on the jetbikes and spiders.

Who is manning the quad gun or making use of the ADL? I would also drop this as nothing really uses it(or should) and you could buy more spiders, more beasts, night shields for the venoms, blasters, support batteries or a ton of more useful units.

Yeah i thought so, i might give vect a try in a raider + grotesques before i move back to the baron again.

I find night shields a waste on venoms, especially with w-serpents, but the adl is needed since people in my area have a tendency of (ab)using helldrakes.

Vect and Grotesques is a stupid good combination. All of the benefits, but now you get speed. No rending, but still a ton of punch and durability.

Serpents indeed negate night shields, so I understand if you want more on the table. The quad gun is not all that scary to the drake, and unless you manage to kill it outright before it can shoot, it is going to roast the gun and anybody manning it.
