Since you can't use the tailsman and the runic weapon on the same power, toss the wolf tail talisman from the priest. Runic armor is ok, but you will always use the 4+ from the staff. Terminator armor gives a solid 5++, which can be taken against anything.

I know the wolf claws are cheap, but they may be overkill. Power swords/axes usually do the job, and dropping a few can get your grey hunters wolf standards.

Taking the flamer for the free plasma is cool, but you don't want to mix roles all that much. It is usually better to just take two of the same weapon, even if you have to pay.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

My advice (take or choose to ignore) is that 6th edition is all about the shooting. So I really don't know about the Wolf Guard - I know they are fluffy, and if you can get them in - great. But facing this army I would be more worried if there was another pod full of grey hunters.

Also - very useful to have some melta in the drop pods too.

If you could drop both wolf guard to get two pods of grey hunters with meltas, I'm pretty sure it'd leave you enough points for an aegis for your long fang with a quad gun for anti air (which is probably a must for space wolves). If you deploy your long fang cleverly one if them can be manning the quad gun for interceptor and firing his missile launcher in your turn too, I believe.

Happy hunting.
