I am looking for some alternative models to use as my inquisition warriors.

Would these do:

Inquisition warriors are armed with what, a lasgun and flak armor? That's what Catachans are armed with, so I don't see the problem at all. People use IG for Inquisition pretty regularly.

i dont have the new inquisition codex so cant say for their armament. However, if the weapons and armor match, then by all means they would work. Just be sure to paint and/or convert them so that no one could confuse them with anything else. You can "go to town" on this and have a lot of fun. The reason for this is so no one can claim to be confusing them with guardsmen. This is especially true if you have guard allies. They would need to stand out as being different and the paint job and extra gubbins would do the trick.

The Catachans will do a brilliant bunch of Warrior Acolytes - and they look badass too. If you want extra punch, upgrade them with Hotshot lasguns for AP3 goodness.

Warrior acolytes dont get access to standard lasguns but as said above can take hotshots. Otherwise the standard loadout is Laspistol CC Weapon
