So, looking for a good, all around 40k podcast. I'd like one that isn't only game tactics and list building, but covers modeling, painting, converting, and news/rumors.

What do you guys suggest?

Daemons--5000
Death Guard --2000
Daemons--15000
Word Bearers--10000

Total investment in the Forces of Chaos: 38,000

The American ones I like are
Frontline(general weirdness)
11th company(closest to all encompassing but more focused on competitive play, list building)
Forging the narrative (competitive, fluff, list building, book reviews)
And independant characters (fluff, modelling, and general gamig how to have fun and do what you like)

The non American ones I like are
40kUK(competitive play mostly, list building)

The Independent Characters is really solid. I listen to Carl's podcast religiously. Their coverage of the HH stuff and anything FW is lights out. They sound like guys I know super cool to listen too.
Hitting on 3's is funny but don't expect hard hitting coverage. These guys are funny as gak. Actually it should be called gaking on 3's.
Forge the narrative has also gotten alot better. They are more for the tournament scene. Pretty good stuff.
Frontline gaming has some really quick but good segments. Good overall coverage however.
Jaded gamercast is awesome. They get trashed while talking all things dork. They cover alot more then just 40k though. One of my favorites.
40k Radio can be good but they only post a show about once every 4 weeks.

For the bad in my opinion.
I cannot stand the 11th company. Some people swear by them but I think they blow.
Screaming heretic is awful to me as well.

Keep in mind these are my opinions and a lot of people love 11th company and SH.

The two I listen to are the 11th Company and The Independent Characters. But for two completely different reasons. But they are my favorite of the dozen or so I have tried.

The 11th Company is very tournament/top tier focused. They will have discussion on the Meta, top builds, strategy, tactics and how the new books impact these. There is typically 4-6 of them, but each actually has some good input and it doesn't get as confusing as it sounds. Their points are always right on the money, well constructed and very obviously tied to the meta. On the downside, their audio quality is fairly average at best.

The Independent Characters is more general, they cover FW releases, modelling and hobbying, with a more garage gamer outlook on the game. Previously they have also done themed episodes such as how to run a narrative event, Apocalypse and how to deal with your wife/girlfriend in relation to 40k. Their audio quality is top notch and they do still talk about games, tactics and strategy, but at that garage/store level.

My only problem with the 11th company is Kevin. He is not a decent podcast personality. Other than that and Neil's sometimes penchant for negativity lately they are the tournament focused podcast I listen to the most. They have consistantly top tier player interviews, MVBrandt(nova open organizer) and other very good guests and definately know what they're talking about tournament wise from Neil and alan(blackmoor dakka fame)

I agree that they know their stuff. Neil sucks and the cat with the accent needs hit with a shovel. He can sound so damn condescending it makes me insane with rage.
I am not a WAAC tourney player so that's probably why I hate that podcast and prefer IC. I'd play with those guys. I'd chat hobby and GW stuff. They also don't spew GW hate which is all.the rage right now.
Now I listen to HO3's and Jaded Gamercast for laughs. Those guys make me giggle.
