this would only work in a Salamander list with Vukan.

on Sargent take a combi melta. Vulkan makes it master crafted
take lightning claw. Salamander rule of character gets free master crafted upgrade

so this gives a sargent a master crafted comb ibolter and master crafted lighting claw with shred.

Combi melta or flamer, considering you can get either with sallys. The master crafted claw means your going to hold up fairly well in a challenge against anything that is not +150 points. Only really viable if you plan on using the master craft and making assault.

I think it is just crazy enough to work, providing you have the spare points. I would never shell out the chips for it, but if you could afford to load out your sarges, sure.

Generally, special ccw on 1-wounded sarges with 3+ are a waste of points.
