So, I've been planning an Ork Escalation from 250 all of the way up to 2000.

After lots of research, conversation, and some experimentation, I'm pretty happy with my 1500 point list. However, I'm not certain where to go from there. The FOC leaves me room in Elite, Fast Attack, and Troops.

I like this one best because it denies the other side soft targets, however, if they can deal with 4 BWs, adding a 5th isn't much better. What build am I likely to run into that most threatens my Wagons? Riptides?

Idea 2: Nob Bikers

5 Nobz (Warbike, 2 PK, 2 Skorcha-Kombi, 3 Big Choppa, BP, WAAAGH Banner) + Painboy(Warbike) - 395

If I can hide my bikers behind my BWs, maybe I can get value out of them. Gives me another major threat.


Idea 3: Dakka Jets
3 Dakka Jets (3 extra Supa shootas, 2 Fighter Aces) - 360
8 Lootas - 120

My initial plan was to mainly ignore air units, but I could try to control the skies.


Idea 4: More Boyz
29 Shoota Boyz (3 Big Shoota) + Nob (PK, BP) - 235
1 More MANZ (Kombi-Skorcha) - 45
7 Lootas - 105
Aegis Defense line w/ Quad Gun - 100
Linebreaker / Distraction in reserve:
1 DeffKopta - 35

Maximizes my Dakka, but makes me slower, and softer.



Obviously I've decide to go Battle Wagons as my main threat, with the goal of table opponent scoring units. Please let me know which of my expansion strategies will best make me ready for all-comers at 2000 (1 FOC)
