As stated above i am about to start collecting and these are my beginner army that i am looking hard at. I am looking for experienced opinion or just general feedback

you cant go wrong with gaunts, im sure youl need them in the new book. same with hive tyrants and tervigons, but as others mentioned you should probably wait for the new book

If you absolutely have to, just buy a box of gaunts and paint them up. I wouldn't preorder anything except the codex. You NEVER know what's changed mate.
