Hey guys,

A few friends and I are looking for some new people to play. We've got a nearby gameshop (Adventure Games) but we're not lucky enough to find any Warmahordes players there (place is VERY focused on 40k). I think they may exist, but again, I'm not lucky enough to find them.

5 Players (including myself), looking for new people to play in the Scranton area (Lackawanna/Wayne county). Never done any competitive play, but we're looking to expand outside our tiny group to get better at the game.

If your curious:
Cryx, Mercs, Menoth, Khador, Legion, and Convergence.

Thanks in advance guys.

Hey I'm from Allentown. There is a couple of us that play at a game store called Portal. It's in Bethlehem. There is also a few players that show up once and a while but there is no set day to play. We too are looking for more players to play with. We also go to tournaments in Maplewood, Nj. The store is called Maplewood hobbies. Sundays is their big gaming day for warmahordes. They also have a big tournament every month and it also always fills up. Usually with a minimum of 22 players.
Armies we play are
legion
cryx
skorne
menoth
minions
cygnar

Hey there DS,

We'll have to set something up when the weather starts settling the frack down a bit. That's quite the hike from where I'm at, so I'll have to see what my buddies think.

Either way, I appreciate the call-out!

No problem. I was thinking the same, we could also come up there once and a while too. I was thinking of checking out Adventure Games this Saturday. How is the Warmachine stock up there?

For Warmachine/Hordes? TERRIBLE. Only a few things on the shelf at any given time (1-2 starter boxes, with the occasional solo or warcaster). As for players, again: I've had the worst luck trying to find people that play there (But I've got some odd work hours, so it could be me).

The place is SUPER 40k oriented for the miniature aspect of things. There isn't even any Warhammer Fantasy rolling around lol. Take the trip and see what you can find, if the place tickles the fancy of your other hobbies perhaps (MtG? Very big, Dnd/Pathfinder? Absolutely).

I will say though, if you haven't got 1 near you, take the short drive up the hill (Viewmont Drive) and check out Hobby Lobby. Great place for cheaper painting/modelling materials (paints, flocks, model trees, miliput, dremel tools, modeling tools, paint brushes....etc...)

I don't know your driving habits, but don't speed in that neck of the woods, the local police are real nit-pickers, so take heed!

Good luck, keep warm.
