I must addmit ig get pretty expensive for a 12 year old so im looking for an army that helps suck some point s from my ig I was thinking eldar any thoughts?

If so then grey knights are super expensive pointswise and they're no longer flavour of the month so can be picked up cheaply.

Dude seriously, i got 7 Scibor models for my guard as allies, i use them as grey knights. For nearly 600 points i got 7 models. Great points soak.

i ally grey knights with my guard a lot and vice versa too.. coatez can help you get first turn which really helps out your ord and i've been expecting you helps against deep strikers (which guard are weak against). a dreadknight goes a LONG way towards giving you an offensive punch and doesnt need to get permission to be used like superheavies do (escelation is an optional addition).
Dont forget coatex makes henchmen troops so you can get a really cheap troops and spend the points on the dreadknight nd interceptors work well as support for the dread as well in terms of giving you an offensive punch and forcing your opponents to make harder choices.
