Ignoring the gimping that the new KT rules have given to Necrons; does a "unit" of 5 Deathmarks get to pick five Hunters from Hyperspace targets as per rules stating each model is its own unit?

Seems to be fair, otherwise a squad of five Deathmarks could only use the special rule against one enemy model!

Unlucky if you pick four elite infantry models to face necrons!

Sure if you ignore the rules? It works any way you'd like it to buddy!

That said if they each count as a individual unit, they each should be able to mark something and all of them would benefit from any marks placed.

Every Man for Himself: Most models in a Kill Team are selected as part of one or more squads. However, when deploying your Kill Team and throughout the course of the game, each model is treated as a separate unit.

This is the rule I was talking about!

Combined with:

Hunters from Hyperspace: When a Deathmark unit deploys, choose a non-vehicle en unit on the battlefield (even a unit in a tnspt) to be their prey - place a counter etc etc. Any Deathmark unit that shoots at, or strikes a blow against, a unit marked in this fashion will score a wound on a 2+

Sure. 'Hunter's from Hyperspace' states you place the mark when the unit is 'deployed' which according to that rule means each deathmark model is it's own unit at that point.

I will need to take a closer look at the rules to be sure, but so far it sounds legit. Not to surprising though, Kill Team sometime over look potential rules conflicts and this edition is no difference. This one is not overly broken like a few of the others one in the past though, such as the BrotherHood of Psykers Special Rule, as I can see several things that likely will limit the damage it can do. It would make the Necrons one of the more powerful anti-elite builds in Kill Teams, but they are still just as vulnerable to other anti-elite builds.

What is the range on their weapons?

True, a touch harder to dance out of their range then I thought but they still have to catch me!
