Hi guys. All comments or criticisms welcome! I use this force as my default army. I love my marines. It does ok. Not amazing and I'd like to tweak it or change massively if needed to get it working like marines should.
Captain. Artificer armour. Shield eternal. Teeth of terra.
Command squad. Apothecary. 2 meltas. Flamer. Grav. Drop pod
10 sternguard. 7 combi weapons. Normally melta or grav. Drop pod
Ironclad. Heavy Flamer. Ironclad launchers. Drop pod.
10 tactical. Veteran sergeant. Combi melta, melta, multi melta, Rhino
10 tactical. Veteran sergeant. Combi grav. Grav. Multi melta Rhino.
This comes in at 1360 points. I normally put a vindicator in as well primarily to attract fire rather than my rhinos. But it's kinda annoying that it never does anything as I very rarely win initiative. I would like what amounts to a rapid strike force really.
So put rhinos in cover or behind vindie. Drop sternguard and normally ironclad. Melta. Flame etc. Rhino rush across the board. But it's not effective enough.
Kicking around I have four lascannon razorbacks. Thunderfire cannon. Whirlwind. 5 bikes 2 plasma. 2 melta attack bikes. Three land raiders, normal, redeemer and Achilles. I have plenty of assault marines with packs. Enough extra sternguard to rock a full ten man squad. As well as various dreadnoughts. A storm talon, kinda handy.
Please help!

Well; you've got a lot of different ideas floating around. You certainly can just out-meta people with Tri-raider at 1500. That is not an alpha strike list tho. THAT list would mean more pods.
If you don't want to play bike spam; you an go Air Force or raider spam to just play matchup-hammer or take a death star like gravcent spam with Loth (get gate of infinity auto; since it seems FW is allowed in your meta)
Basically, your army isn't bad but it's a Swiss Army knife. 6th Ed is Rock Paper Scissors hammer. Pick one lol

I do like the idea of a bike list but as as secondary. For my primary I want a hammer.

As a start I would say to put the commad squad and captain on bikes and give the command squad all gravguns. Drop the dread and use those to pods for the tac squads.

A CM on bike with eternal shield AA and a TH with a retnue would be a great start.

I find it's better to go all pods or no pods.

Here's my issues with your choices:
Captain is still quite expensive and not a beat stick in your config. Drop him or make him a beat stick (Shield Eternal + Thunder Hammer, or Burning Blade + Storm Shield) ideally if you're going beat stick you want a CC squad to put him in and a Landraider to get them there.
Command squad is a mess. They need to all have the same special weapon so when you fire them everyone is pulling their weight. Otherwise no matter who you fire at some special weapons are being wasted. Grav should only be taken on relentless or static units. So drop the grav pick from the other 3 for your command squad or take them all on bikes with grav guns then they are super powered.
Basically the same advice applies to Sternguard. They need a defined purpose now taking 10 means you can combat squad and get 2 different units each with their own purpose. That's great but grav is poor on them you're just paying for a shorter ranged inferior plasma gun why?
Ironclads (like Vindicators) need to be used in pairs at least. AV13 is relatively strong in the S7 heavy meta of 6th but still easy to deal with when there is 1 target. Drop 2 Ironclads in his face and your opponent might struggle more 3 or more will cause anyone an issue. Unless they are MC heavy MCs laughably out match walkers these days and that's going to get worst starting tomorrow with 135 point carnifexes rolling 2d6 pen at S10...
First tactical squad is almost perfect the 2nd should think about melta like the first or plasma for the reasons already stated. Personally I don't bother with the Vet Sergeant upgrade unless you're also taking a CC weapon. The LD boost is not really needed from shooting unless you're hanging back field due to ATSKNF whilst in combat the LD boost won't get used as your sergeant gets challenged out. And to be honest most of the time you'd rather fail that combat LD test anyway...
Now my issues with your list as a whole. It is half mech half drop pod assault. Meaning your opponent deals with you piecemeal and you don't even get the alpha strike (not that DPs are even guaranteed the later with Tau about). So if you're going DP you want your whole army in them and you want your entire army geared for short ranged shooting. Its about dropping in and delivering as much of a killing blow as you can. This seems to fit your rapid strike force idea.
Or go full mech you want 2-3 Vindicators everything in an armoured shell. For competitive play this means CC troops in Landraiders at the moment (though again from Saturday that list will probably find itself out matched we'll have to see what people do with Nids I'm expecting Carnifex spam to be back with a bang).
The most competitive builds for Marines at the moment are Gravstar (Severin Loth 3 Grav Cents, O'Vesa+ Torchstar or buffmander allied in), or a Bike army with 2 grav spam command squads.

I believe that for 1500pts he can take 4 tact squads with melta/combi melta in DPs, and 2 sternguard squads with combi plasmas in DPS and still have enough points for a CM with bike, AA, shield eternal, and TH riding around with a command squad with three grav guns, FnP and banner.
