Hey everyone,
In the rulebook it is stated that certain specific attacks from above target a vehicle's side armour, even though the shots itself may be fired from any direction.
However, when a model fires at a vehicle from higher ground, is there a point where he fires at a vehicle's side armour as well?
For example, if a vehicle is located 1" away from a 12" high building with an enemy unit on top of it, does that unit still fire at the vehicle's armour facing the unit, or at the side armour by standard?
Alternatively, can the rules for 'if you can't see the side of the vehicle facing you, but you can see some other part so you can fire at it with a +1 cover save'-principle if you can't see the front/rear armour but can see the top armour?
Also, if such a rule excists: where to draw the line? At what point does it turn from a <relevant facing> attack into a side armour attack?
