A friend and me are new to the game and he has a warmachine army and I have a Horde army. The question is can the Everblight spell "Bad Blood" affect warjacks as well as warbeasts?

With Warmahordes, everything does exactly what it says.

Bad Blood does only what it says on the card and nothing else.

So to directly answer you, No. It does nothing to Jacks or warcasters.

You must read everything in this game literally. When something says Warbeast it is not interchangeable with Warjack. Likewise with Focus and Fury, if a rule interacts with one it does nothing to the other unless it says so.

No problem. It can be tough to grasp at first. Especially if you are coming from GW's convoluted ruleset.
