Fairly straightforward strategy: Chapter Master with Bikes storm forward. Landraider lumbers forward (Tech marine inside and IWND can replace up to two hull points per turn). Tacs move up in rhinos until they get popped and then either grab objective and shoot or move forward. TFC hides in back and barrage snipes/blows up hordes.

The problem: Where do I put the Librarian in all this? He can't fit in a rhino. I'd like to give him access to two tac squads (lascannons I guess) minimum for prescience. I could put him in the LR with the tech marine but that might gum me up if they need to split off to get around center terrain (if rhinos last).

I considered leaving a tac squad or two in the back, in their rhinos to help survive first strikes and then deploying them right there and hiding the librarian behind a rhino.

I also considered dumping two rhinos, adding an attack bike and some other goodies and keeping them in the backfield. Or putting Libbie on a bike and running him behind rhinos.

Thoughts?

Well SM librarians don't have access to divination so problem solved?

If you don't know what you're doing with the librarian, why are you taking him?

No divination!? I just got the codex, so my error.

Blood angels ally then, or a rune priest, or an inquisitor.

I want to keep him with taciticals to cast prescience.

Inquisitor is your best bet then. But you really don't have a place to put him.

Would it be better to ditch two rhinos and deploy the tactical squads in the backfield to get those lascannons going ASAP? Perhaps an Aegis Defense Line to give them some cover?
