So I was thinking of doing a tau army with 4 riptides and 9 xb88s because I am a big mech / titanfall fan. Then I thought, what if I convert it and run as a leman Russ? I'd change the right gun to a lr tank barrel, shave the top of the riptide down and plasticard and add a hatch where the head is, put the sponson weapons under each arm, and the other lr weapons and upgrades on shoulders... Thoughts on this concept?

Better off making them light heavies? maybe? They are much bigger than the russ and sometimes have more guns. Check out the malcador, it has two leman russ barrells (one for each arm?)
