Hey guys, I have a tournament coming up and I want to get some rules clarifications out of the way before I go -- these are things that come up from time to time in our friendly gaming group that we never really clarify/resolve:

1. If I shoot at a unit on top of a battlement and they lose enough models to take a leadership -- which they fail -- how does the fallback action work? Do they have to jump and take impact tests?

2. I have a unit in assault with an enemy unit. It's my opponents turn, we resolve combat and tie. Units stay locked in combat. -- During my turn I assault the same enemy unit with another one of my units (now I have 2 units in assault with his one unit. We take turns swinging based on initiative subphase. Wounds are calculated and he does 3 wounds -- how do I allocate? Is it simply allocated to the closest model in either unit? and if a model in each unit are tied, do I get to choose which one takes the wounds first?

2a. Is the second assaulting unit now considered a multiple assault, and thus do not receive an assault bonus?

These may be simply outlined in the book, and I feel that I understand them fairly well, some people tend to see things differently.

I'll post more if I run into any other issues....Thanks!

1. they jump straight down to take shortest route possible

2. you declare your targets in close combat, so before rolling to hit your opponent declares what models are attacking what unit

3. 2nd unit still charged, so still +1 attack.

as always at tournaments, TO is king, so they are the last authority

1. They leap as per the rule book, cannot remember the page number off hand.

2.before your opponent rolls any dice he has to allocate which models are attacking which unit

While it is a multiple assault, the charging unit only charged a single enemy unit, so it's not a disordered charge, and can still claim the +1 attack for charging.
