Hello everyone, I was wondering what the consensus is about Nova powers.....they are Witchfires that 'automatically target and hit every enemy unit in range...'.

Does this mean that every unit targeted gets to Deny The Witch to see if they get to ignore it? Or is it more like a beam, where the first unit hit with it (ie. the closest) gets to DTW?

Furthermore, vs Grey Knights w Reinforced Aegis Dreadnoughts, if there is one in range that's 'automatically targeted and hit', does the Aegis come into play if say a Henchman squad is the closest unit? That's more of a psychic test question I guess for Novas, but similary involves that range auto-target/auto-hit thing.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

That way,then left

Novas work just fine. They target each unit, meaning each unit gets a Deny the witch. Each unit that makes its DtW isn't affected and the others are. (DtW states that the power has no effect against that specific unit, and that a unit targeted gets to test.)
