If a flyer jinks 6 inches from a venomtrope does it get a 3+ jink save?

It's a model within 6" so it gains Shrouded.
5+ without Jinking, 3+ with.

Until its faq'd it should yes.

Shrouded does stack with jink.

Jink is not a type of save. Jink is a special rule that gives you a cover save

So yes shrouded will give you flyer a 3+ cover in this case

Yes, and it actually makes sense cinematically (the FMC being lost in a haze of hard to see through mist) unlike a Flying Nurgle Daemon Prince getting the benefit of area terrain that it's flying over.

I guess that's not really apples to apples though. The Jink is what provides the cover save in the OPs question, and the Venomthropes haze is what enhances it. In the Flying Daemon Prince example that I think is wonky, the Prince always has the gas cloud around him to provide a bonus to a cover save, it's just the fact that he gets one from having his toe on a piece of terrain when he's flying over it is the non-cinematic part. Long story short...I'm just grumbling for no reason...nothing to see here.

Venomthropes do wonders for fmcs this edition. Jumping from terrain to terrain to keep a cover save so you don't have the disadvantage of using jink has become second nature. Adding venomthropes is an amazing addition to this tactic.
