Clarification Question

If I put a DE Archon (BS7) on a Quadgun (Twin Linked), would the twin link override the reroll from the BS7?

yes, as re rolling all miss's to reuse your hit on 2 is better than re rolling your miss's to hit on 5.

Basically, twin-linking a weapon doubles your BS.

So anything BS5 or higher just goes to BS10 effectively.

Don't say this because it wrong (such as for snapfiring and not being BS5+)

Although it would be a pretty awesome way of simplifying the Twin-Linked rule, albeit a nerf.

...That wouldn't be a nerf. Doubling the BS is better at every BS except 5+, where it's equal. Plus, it would then potentially stack with other sources of re-rolls.

So, unholyllama, to be clear, yes the twin linking negates your normal BS7 reroll.

You are far better off just putting a haemi on the quadgun, hiding behind it, and taking the rerolls from the twin link. Sure, you now have an actual chance of missing but It's just more cost effective and you can give his pain token to another unit.
