Unfortunately your deathstar is juggs, one of the worst units in the dex right now. With what you have, its the best, but if you're going to take so few troops, even at 1000 points, you need some scary stuff, and juggs just dont do enough damage and dont take enough damage to be that.

Just run with what you have, but know that these days the best units in the dex are:

    Be'Lakor
Daemon Princes of tzeentch and slannesh
    Bloodthristers
    Keeper of Secrets
    Fateweaver
    Flesh Hounds
    Karanak
Screamers (only when accompanied by 4 tzeentch heralds on disks with the grimoire of true names)
    Plague Drones
    Pink horrors
    Daemonettes
    Plaguebearers
    Greater Unclean Ones
    Soul Grinders of Nurgle

Might've forgotten something but i think thats it, try to buy some of those models to bring your army up-to-date

Forgot to list an extra 10 horrors as well as an option.

With your comments in mind, would this be any more effective.

    HQ
  • Fateweaver

  • Herald of Tzeentch (Grimoire, Conjuration, L3 Psyker(flames, prescience), leading horrors)

  • Elite
  • 3 x Flamers (used as horror shield)

  • Troop
  • 10 x Bloodletters (1x Reaper w/ LR)

  • 19 x Horrors (1x IH w/LR, Icon)

  • Heavy
  • Soul Grinder (Nurgle, Pleghm)

  • This is also exactly 1000 points.

Bloodletters to deepstrike w/o assistance and cause whatever confusion they can
Soul Grinder to sit back and launch phleghm.

Or, switch out the flamers and a few horrors and sub in karanak/Skulltaker to lead the bloodletters

Bloodletters are the worst troops... Daemonettes do everything they do but better as they're faster, have more attacks, and rend.

I guess thats better...you still have no Anti-vehicle though. Try to replace those bloodletters as soon as you have the money or time, and try to get some more FMCs

    Cheers for the feedback.

    Ended up using:
    Fateweaver
Tzeentch Prince (winged, armour, psyker3, grimoire)
    Skulltaker w/ 10 letters
    14 horrors.

Worked well, won the battle and held 2 objectives.
