So sorta recently started playing 40k and have one batrep under the belt, sorta. i just got quite a few new models for Christmas and updated 2 army lists, Any feedback is helpful

my one batrep was from a 3v2 battle of friends on a tiny battlefield.... but nonetheless a good experience for a learning of most of the rules

Flayed ones don't work in comp.

You have a little bit of everything tho so you can play so many fun lists

I'd drop flayed ones for ctan on second list. A cc unit with i2. Gonna get swept away

Work out what you want from your army and go from there

If you want fun games stay away from comp lists they can get dirty and people just don't wanna play against 9 flyers lol

Yes it is more or less a fun list. i want to get more of the game understood and make sure i know what i'm doing before trying any comps. the first battle i did was the same hq and warriors, dropping wraiths and the monolith for 2 anni barges and a stalker. been really fleshing out the necron army though, thats my go to for the time being.

I'm new to necrons too but what I worked out was power combos then never filled my army with them for friendly games. Some things can't be helped.. Mss op as hell. I had an overlord in combat with a wraith knight hitting itself 4 combats straight.

Wraiths and destroyer lords will be you best friend lol. Av13 spam is fun too

i love MSS, great against my buddy's wife and her nids. use the MSS and the Prime is beating itself to death, making it easier to get it gone asap. then when i used the stalker in there i could almost wipe out a group of gaunts. then again the C'tan Shard can do that fairly well too.

Some of the fun is mss, wraiths, veil Cryptek and deathmarks hfh 2+ flames grow a beard and love the cron cheese

I just love the whole Necron abilities and rules. Especially the RP due to just having zombie robots. nothing beats zombie robots. Honestly can't wait to field the Crons again.

Deathmarks are fun especially when you can use cryptek abyssall staff and mark the most powerful squad and template them with the S8 AP1 flamer.

Try doomsday ark there fun to use. like a cheaper and sometimes faster monolith at AV14.

and i would drop 10 flayed ones for more necron warriors. can never have too many warriors.

i recently got the deathmarks and didn't think about the cryptek with the HFH.

Unfortunately i have not been able to get the ark yet, but i have thought about picking one up recently. might do that in the next few days.

i agree with the warriors, just made a fun experimental build so i can use the different rules and such. plus the IG one of my buddies plays look like they have the right flesh tone that i wanted in their new clothes >:3
