I was originally going to go with more Wave Serpent SPAM, but I want the list to be fun to play, and WS Spam is not. Also, I know the tournament will have one mission that includes a cumulative objective counter, so it tallies VPs starting from turn one. Running a MSU WS spam army only gives me 5 dire avengers to put on said objective, and i need something more hearty, hence the 20 man blob.

I have play tested this list only once and it tabled Daemons in three turns. I got extremely lucky and the warp storm table helped me a lot, so that's a hard benchmark to use.

Drop the lone farseer and take a spiritseer and a warlock with spear, thats 100pts even and with that you have a better chance for renew which is great for wraithknights and conceal which is good for camping guardians.

Also if 3 dakka serpents and the spiders are good enough AA for you then awesome otherwise drop the guardians Ws and the other Scs and buy a crimson hunter because they counter well as AT when the wraithknights are punching stuff.

Anyway cannons lower your movement to 6" unless you want to snap fire.

Better to give the mantle sear the spear, sear is bs 5 warlock is 4

The Crimson Hunter is an interesting idea. I used two in a 2500 point tourney a few weeks ago and had surprising luck. Not sure it's worth losing the WS and Shuriken Cannons though. I'll have to play test.

Lol sorry about the warlock and spiritseer still on the 25pts warlocks but I still think for 10pts more it will give you better ability to survive.

You might be right. It's definitely got me thinking about it. I was enjoying the double prescience, double guide though. lol
