I'll be attending an 1850 point tournament this upcoming Saturday(Jan 18th). I'm looking for something at least a little competetive, while still entertaining to play. This event will allow superheavies and gargantuans, but there are rarely more than one or two at each event.

I plan on taking two Bio rolls and one Change for each Prince, and Two Div and on Change on the LoC. I figure either the book or glyph for the exalted reward depending on the mission.

Since i haven't been to a tourny for a while now, I'm looking for thoughts about how this might stack up against current played lists. As a side note, i do realize screamer-star is popular right now, but i find it fairly boring, so that's pretty much out.

First of all, I would say put armor on your princes. They don't like running naked and dying to bolter fire . If you are worried about the Greater reward of the 3+ armour going to waste, remember that you first roll ALL your rewards, re-rolling duplicates, and then decide what to keep and what to swap. Also, as a Daemon of Tzeentch, they get to re-roll those 1s, so basicaly you save many more wounds on your armour save. Additionally, if you have Angrath the Unbound or whatever his name is (or something big that looks like him) I would suggest to defenatly bring him. He costs lots of points(around 800), but he gets awesome bonuses. Apart from that, the list seems pretty nice and competitive, proving you don't deploy first and an Eldar/Tau Player seizes the initiative .

I don't personally have any GC/SH's that i can take at the moment. In regards to the armour on princes, that's only due to points. I can't fit those points in without fully reworking the list. I'm hoping between the book, forewarning, and/or invisibility to keep them in saves high enough to cause a little trouble . Aside from that i can switch the LoC for a GUO geared much the same, make the princes Nurgle, and add armour. The only problem with that is I'd basically waste the armour on the princes if there's ANY terrain around, and i no longer have a standard shooting attack.
