Yeah, I had been considering giving the Deathmark's
NS to the Warriors (not the Immortals. Immortals are better for walking up and taking/holding objectives, where as Warriors, being more vulnerable, are better for sitting in their ride and jumping out on turn 5).
But the problem with trying to deep strike a D&D squad is they have a nasty habit of mishapping when you try to get close enough to use the flamer. Stick them in a Nightscythe and you can pinpoint insert them next to their target without worry.
...
And, uh, if I drop the Overlord I won't be able to take the Despair-tek.
Destroyers, on the other hand, I'm more flexible with... though I really would prefer to take down
MCs from afar (Wraiths+D.Lord have to make it through a lot of overwatch before they can get into contact with a Riptide, after all).
Oh, and pro-tip: never EVER rely on Gauss for anti-
AV.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Revised-
Removed the Overlord and Despair-tek, relying on double Deathmarks to take care of
MCs.
Kept the H.Destroyers for anti-
AV/
TEQ duty.
Just wish I could have fit in a squad of regular Destroyers for their Marine wiping ability.
