Tyrants provide synapse where needed causing havoc around the board. Tervigon plays midfield synapse with crown and spawn gaunts for backfield objective holding. Zoan Thropes chug along providing more synapse and hope to roll up catalyst to fill support roll. Hive Crone flys around causing what mayhem he can. Exocrines walk w the gaunt horde dropping pie plates. Mawloc hopes to give a little attention to opponents back field. thoughts?

I like this list; you have some nice big blobs of troops, and the monstrous creature saturation that the new codex demands. What I'm worried about is synapse; your flyrants are a lot faster than your gaunts, so unless they are kept near the tervigon you risk IB.

Well i have synapse through tyrants. tervigon has 18 inch synapse possibly 24 if he gets a non desirable psychic power. plus 2 units of Zoan Thropes for synapse as well

I'm brand new to Tyranids but this seems like a pretty solid list. Would the Zoanthropes stay back with the heavier creatures while the Tervigon moved forward with the gaunts?
they pretty much all gonna travel together for the most part.. exocrines would have to move up a bit cause of their 24 inch range.. but ya they would just be providing support from behind the gaunts
This list is almost identicle to a list I used in a tournament last weekend with the new book and it did very well. No synapse issues and plenty of fire power and targets to distract your enemy with. Should treat you pretty well.
