It is a shame that generic daemon weapons got removed from the codex for 6th edition, so here is my solution.

Daemon Weapon - 35pts

Range - Melee
STR - User + 1
AP - 3
Special - Daemon Weapon (as per codex), Specialist Weapon

If the bearer of the daemon weapon carries a Mark, the following upgrades will apply to it:

Slaanesh - Rending, Shred

Nurgle - Poisoned Attacks (4+)

Tzeentch - Instead becomes a 24" range, Str 5, AP3 Shooting attack with the Assault type. Gains D6+1 Shots for daemon weapon rule in the shooting phase instead of assault (a roll of 1 for number of shots causes a wound as normal). Counts as a power sword in combat.

I know that a lot of this except the Slaanesh rules is largely copied from the previous codex, but that is because I thought that this is one of the few things that book got right.

I also haven't included a Khorne option, because the Axe of Blind Fury already exists.

If anyone has any ideas/criticisms, I would love to hear them. Just keep it constructive!
