I feel like this army could work (based on all the readings and YouTube videos I've been watching), although it's weak against anyone who brings a lot of air assets. I'm considering trying to fit in two units of Wracks -- one to sit on an objective and be ignored, and the other to operate a Quad Gun.

The general idea here:
- the H.Q. units help me seize first turn, everything pushes forward and I aim to take First Blood. If their Warlord is in a unit that I can take out, I'll go for it.
- The Wyches are my anti-tank, as well as the Voidravens -- the Voidravens are also there to hunt other flyers. I'm also thinking that maybe I should switch out a squad of Kabalite Warriors for either a third squad of Wyches, or a Ravager, to go tank-hunting
- The Beastmasters are there to act as tarpits and can help hunt down Terminators and TEQ.

Not sure how this will play out, but I'm trying to keep all my bases covered. Like I said -- I only have two anti-air units..

There are dozens of us dark eldar out there....

Anyway, your list is pretty good. I have couple of suggestions though. First drop the extra trueborn model from each squad, they serve no purpose in a blaster squad.

Also I would combine your beast packs into one. Both are easily wiped out by anything S6 or higher. If you drop those two trueborn and some flocks you can add a few Khymerae which would make that squad much tougher. Flocks may do a ton of damage to TEQ but they have to get there first, and that's what Khymerae help with.

And as far AA is concerned, you're fine as far as a DE are concerned. We really don't have much to speak of, the flyers are our best bet.

The only thing that irks me about this list is the lack of dual cannons on the venoms. All those poisoned shots are what a venom spam is all about...

-If you're bringing Vect... he goes with the beast squad. He confers fearless to the unit from the get-go and his perferred enemy absolutely rocks with the razorwing flocks.

-I've never liked the blasterborns in 6ed... I'd consider 3 man trueborns with 2 splinter Cannons.

-Always, ALWAYS upgrade the Venoms to that 2nd Cannon.

-I've been meh on Voidraven... I'd rather save the points and get the Razorwing.

-Kabalite warriors with 1x blaster is kinda meh as well. I'd prefer haywyches in venoms or full warriors in Raiders.

THis is a 1824 list (add 26 in whatever wargear/option as desired):

Thanks a ton guys!! I find that Dark Eldar info is kind of hard to come by. I've applied most of the changes you've suggested. As for anything else, here are my thoughts:

One thing I don't understand, is if I put Vect with the Beastmasters, how will he keep up? I mean.. he's on foot, so the whole unit would have to slow down just for him. Plus he has haywire grenades so I thought he could participate in tank-busting madness with the Wyches, no? Plus if he's in the biggest model I have on the table (bar the flyers), and nominate the Baron as my Warlord, it would seem a good distraction..

Also, about replacing the Kabalites with Wyches -- I don't know about assault in 6th ed. what with Overwatch and all.. so that's why I went for mostly Kabalite Warriors and Trueborn. Finally, I'll try out both the Razorwing and the Voidraven for anti-air shenanigans and see which one I like

Oh yeah! And now I have 4x Razorwing Flocks and 5x Khymerae with 3x Beastmasters. I don't know what kind of ratio I should be going for -- let me know if it lacks Razorwing Flocks, or whatever

Once again, your advice is really appreciated!

I have my DE hq with a harlequin squad which does a similar thing. I just hijack a Raider from a troop choice at the start of the game.

Spending that many points on HQ in a DE list is a bit odd. Most people including myself keep the cost down there and put points into other units.

As previously mentioned, one beast squad with baron attached.

Based on you having Vect and Baron you should be taking turn 1 more often than not. The voidravens are really not doing anything for the list.

You can conga-line where Vect moves his full 6" and the rest of the unit can move the full 12". Just make sure they're in unit coherency.

Haywyches are primarily there for the troops tax and lobbing the 'nades.

Best way to find out.

That's my loadout...
