Hey guys just wondering if there is any market for the old citadel paint range? The one before they changed all the colour names.
My local independent retailer has a box of surplus stock from the change.

Most of the "common" colors are easy to replace using Army Painters, Vallejo and Coat d'Arms range. People could still be interested if they are used to using them.

Foundation range however is pretty hard to replace.

Hmm well Devlan mud is all gone he had 3 pots left and they all made it to my painting stash.
If I remember correctly there were a fair few foundation pots.
They were the ones with white lids weren't they?

I have a friend looking for iyanden darksun and I'd take multiples of badab black, gryphonne sepia, thraka green, Baal red and ogryn flesh. Singles of calthan brown and mechrite red.

There is an awesome craft shop near me that often has some old GW paints and i always tend to buy em.

When i say old i mean the old hexaganol pots with the flip up lids , just the other week i picked up a Vermin brown , Snakebite leather , Burnished Gold , Shining Gold and Mithril silver.

I love the old colours and they are great at bulking out your paint range anyway , especially as the paint is in 'as new ' condition as well .

Those would be the Coat d'arms paints which can be purchased new from Black Hat Miniatures.

Yes but they are in the original citadel colour pots and labels etc but yes that paint can be bought new , just not quite as cheap as old stock

I'm interested in Dheneb Stone, Mechrite Red, Tallarn Flesh, and good ole chaos black.

they are all £2.00 a pot with £2.60 postage as i will have to send them via royal mail as small parcels.

"all these paints are brand new unopened pots, however they are quite old and as such some of them may have separated and/or dried out a bit. i have kept some of these paints for myself and can safely say that the ones i have opened for personal use are fine once they are well shook and thinned back to the correct consistency"
