Hi everyone! I'll be playing a 2400pts 2v2 tournament in a few days and I need some help with my list.

I'm used to bring fully pimped out characters, but since the base cost of WoC lords is so friggin high (Chaos Lord: 210, Sorcerer Lord: 235, Daemon Prince: 235) and the point cap at 1200 is 300pts, if I want a properly geared character I'm forced to pick a LD8 hero as my army's general. No LD9 lord and no BSB... That sucks.

Luckily for me, my ally will be doing all the spellcasting, so at least I don't have to worry about that. By the way, he is a DE player and his list will be something like this:
Spoiler:
- Supreme Sorceress (Lore of Life) on dark steed + 5 doomfire warlocks
- 28 witch elves + death hag on cauldron
- some chaff/more warlocks

The plan is quite simple:
Spoiler:
he provides the magic and the infantry ranks while I provide the heavy support stuff, like crushers and loads of chariots. We won a recent 2vs2 tournament using this setup, but it was a 3000pts tournament, so our army included a fully geared nurgle prince and a flying unkillable BSB.

With all this in mind, I made the following list:
Spoiler:
- Exalted Hero (Mark of Tzeentch, Disc of Tzeentch, Great Weapon, Scaled Skin,
Talisman of Preservation, Charmed Shield) = 226pts

- Exalted Hero (Mark of Tzeentch, Barded Daemonic Mount, Great Weapon, The Third Eye of Tzeentch, Soul Feeder, Talisman of Preservation, Charmed Shield) = 246pts
- 5 Chaos Warhounds = 30pts
- 5 Chaos Warhounds (Vanguard) = 40pts
- 1 Chaos Chariot (Mark of Nurgle) = 125pts
- 1 Chaos Chariot (Mark of Nurgle) = 125pts
- 1 Gorebeast Chariot (Mark of Nurgle) = 140pts
- 1 Gorebeast Chariot (Mark of Nurgle) = 140pts
- 1 Gorebeast Chariot (Mark of Nurgle) = 140pts
- 3 Skullcrushers of Khorne (Enchanted Weapons, Musician) = 244pts
- 1 Hellcannon 210pts
TOTAL: 1196pts

"Why a disc instead of a daemonic mount?" may you ask. Well, we have 0 shooting and our stuff is relatively slow, so we need a reliable warmachine hunter. That could be a task for warhounds or horsemen, but this kind of tournaments include more warmachines than they can swallow... specially against dwarfs and their T4 crew.

Any suggestions/opinions?

No third eye on the exalted to make him unkillable?

Otherwise looks pretty brutal!

I just remembered a very large amount of armour-ignoring stuff that would love to face my character, so I'm taking your advice. Thank you!

Between the Charmed Shield, Talisman of 4++ and the Third Eye its pretty ridiculous how far an Exalted's 2 wounds can go.

There will be a fuckton of elves in this tournament (so we heard); that means less cannons and more T3 troops, so we ended up mounting the exalted hero on a daemonic mount and swapping skullcrushers with a hellcannon.

That S5 template will be very useful against the hideous elven hordes!
