I was reading the black legion dataslate closely and the wounded oath broken marine caught my eye. I sympathized with that marine as I realized that I am as beaten and bruised as him. My csm are not shining in gold trim, nor are they brandishing polished blades n bolters, but they are rusted, tattered, and hollow shadows of doubt. They are the oath broken because they will fail a leadership test and retreat to the board edge and die. They will fail because I am no tactical genius. I will not be relying on heldrakes, oblitz, zombies n plague marines to win. I must prove myself capable.

They are the broken and deserve no special artifacts (ichor of blood is worthless) or formidable engines. The Lord's weapon is the quadgun. The havocs hide behind the line for cover and cowardly shoot. The plasma squads will try to take n hold mid while melta squad pushes forward to shoot tanks n assault.

Don't know gak about playing CSM, but I love the idea behind this army

Thank you. I havent test my army yet but i also read the part where the data slate suggested i spam csm with no upgrades. The mandatory votlw makes them just as expensive as regular csm. If the above list is a failure then i will just spam csm. Then if that dont work then i will spam cultists in a black legion army so i dont need the votlw.

The whole point of this is to take nothing with votlw upgrade and call it a black legion list as a mockery.
