I was wondering. We're running a 2500 tournament that is allowing Lords of War and double force org. Can you bring 2 Lords of War and still have a legal list? I didn't see anything in the book that would prevent it but I've never used allies/fortifications/etc (Nids ftw) so I was a little unclear on the rules.

Currently you are given one LoW slot.
There's is nothing allowing a second, even at 2k+ points.

It's not one slot per primary, and unlike allied and fortification slots there's nothing allowing a second per primary.

Not every one who plays apocalypses does so with out a FOC. I'm going to be in a big game soon myself, 4-6 players on two teams with 6000 points per team. We are still limiting each player to the appropriate FOC for their share of the points but we are including the war-master and finest hour rules. We mainly do that because having one player in charge of the team and making the bulk of the strategy decisions keeps the game on track.

I just want to reiterate and hopefully help stamp out the notion that 2000 points is "double force org."

That is not what it means. It means you can bring a second primary detachment, which therefore means it has to mandatory have 1 HQ and 2 troops.

Effective "double" force org? Yes, I suppose. It's an overly simply way of looking at it though and skips out a few key details that'd keep this question from popping up again in the future.
